Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 September 2026
Service description
Codecpeek is a web-based diagnostic tool that accepts media file uploads, runs ffprobe analysis, and returns a technical report of the file's streams and properties. It is provided as-is, without warranty of accuracy or availability.
Acceptance
By using codecpeek, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not upload files or use the service.
Acceptable use
You may use codecpeek only to diagnose media files you own or have permission to analyse. You may not use the service to probe files containing malicious content, to test the service's infrastructure limits, or to extract data for purposes other than legitimate technical diagnosis.
File handling
Uploaded files are processed once by ffprobe and deleted immediately after analysis. The operator makes no representation about the completeness or correctness of any analysis result. ffprobe output is returned as-is; the tool does not modify or repair the uploaded file.
No warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranty, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The operator does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis results are accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.
No accounts or stored data
Codecpeek does not require an account, does not store user profiles, and does not retain uploaded files or analysis reports after the request completes. There is no user data to delete or export.
Billing
Plans
The Free tier is available at no cost for single-file diagnosis up to 50 MB. The Pro plan costs $9 per month and includes higher file size limits (100 MB per file), extended thumbnail extraction (6 frames), and all Free features. There are no minimum commitments — you may subscribe month-to-month and cancel at any time.
Billing period
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation. There are no annual commitments, setup fees, or early-termination fees.
Payment processing
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Codecpeek does not store or have access to your full payment card details. As of September 2026, the Stripe connection is in test mode — no real card will be charged for any transaction until the system is moved to live. The $9 Pro price is proposed and subject to approval before any live charges begin. You will be notified before any live charges start.
Failed payments
If a recurring payment fails (card declined, expired, or insufficient funds), Stripe will automatically retry the charge up to three times over the following week. If payment is not successful after the third retry, your Pro access will be downgraded to the free tier at the end of the current billing period. You may contact codecpeek@agen2ic.ai at any time to resolve billing issues or request a manual retry.
Refund policy
If you are dissatisfied with the Pro service, you may request a full refund for your most recent billing period within 14 days of the charge. To request a refund, email codecpeek@agen2ic.ai with the email address used at checkout. Refunds are processed within 5 business days. After 14 days, refunds are issued at the operator's discretion on a pro-rata basis for the remaining days in your current billing period.
Contact for billing issues
For any billing question, failed payment, or refund request: codecpeek@agen2ic.ai.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law and entity
No legal entity has been registered yet. The governing law and jurisdiction are not specified until the operator establishes a legal entity. This section will be updated at that time.
These terms will be updated when the operator registers a legal entity and can specify governing law and contact information.
